Art - Stefano Paganini

I love art in all its forms.

I nurture minor obsessions, which lead me to delve emotionally and impetuously into the lives and expressions of men with similar temperament and passions to mine.

Colours, lines and creations by famous names have the ability to enrapture me and inspire me instantly. I like to look for and find something of myself and my food in the rigour of Mondrian, in the chaos of Pollock or in the draperies of Capucci.

REGULAR EXHIBITIONS

My passion for art is sincere and deep-rooted and I wanted to transpose it into my work and into the rooms at Magliano Castle.
I regularly have the pleasure of collaborating with artists, opening the doors of my restaurant and hosting small exhibitions.

Every artist I have hosted over the years has succeeded in offering me truly enriching suggestions and original perspectives: an unending exchange, capable of being reflected from the walls to the kitchen, in a riot of lines and colours that can be found in every dish.

Currently hosting: Sophie Taricone, in Terra as Experience

Starting in March 2026, Ristorante Stefano Paganini is hosting the works of Sophie Taricone, an artist working between painting and photography with a deep attention to material and gesture.

In Terra as Experience, her work unfolds as a practice of direct contact with matter: the earth is not represented, but traversed, becoming physical experience, gesture, and sensitive presence.

Sophie works with dry pigments and, at times, natural earths, using her hands as her primary tool. The process arises from a bodily need to touch and understand matter through direct contact, in a continuous dialogue between intention and the material’s response. Each work preserves traces, stratifications, and sedimentations of gesture. What emerges is a perception of place that is not descriptive, but sensory. The surfaces invite the viewer to slow down, to draw closer, to allow the gaze to become listening. An experience in which seeing passes through feeling, and matter returns to being a living presence.
