New colors and suggestions in the halls of Ristorante Stefano Paganini: the Franco Gotta exhibition opens.

The Castle of Magliano Alfieri is ready to open its halls to a new artistic chapter: starting mid-September, the spaces that host Ristorante Stefano Paganini will become the setting for the works of Franco Gotta, a painter from Bra born in 1952 and today recognized internationally.

An artistic journey that originates in nature, deeply influenced by the colors and suggestions of the countryside. Since childhood, meadows, wheat fields, poppies, and cornflowers have been his first true school of art. After an initial professional career in the technical field, in the 1980s the artist decided to follow his true vocation, definitively embarking on the path of painting.

His style is distinguished by chromatic sensitivity and evocative power: canvases in which nature, memory, and emotion intertwine in a figurative language that becomes both a personal and universal narrative.

The inauguration: when art meets aphorisms and taste

Friday, September 12 we look forward to welcoming you at Ristorante Stefano Paganini for a unique vernissage, a true cultural event. Starting at 5:30 PM, distinguished guests, musicians, writers, and cultural voices will bring the Castle of Magliano to life. The works of Franco Gotta will be presented together with the aphorisms of Fabrizio Caramagna, an internationally renowned writer and aphorist, guest of honor. The presentation will be led by Pino Berrino, journalist of *Il Nuovo Braidese*, and Maura Forneris, historic actress of the theater company “I Desbela,” who will read some of Caramagna’s aphorisms. There will also be contributions from Federico Gregorio and Luca Giachino, who will recount the artistic connection between Gotta and Caramagna, along with Alessandro Bosio, cultural communicator and contributor for *Corriere di Alba e Roero*.

The vernissage will be further enriched by the participation of Asti-based writer Cristiana Abozzi, who will present her novel *Rubiamo la Luna*, whose cover features Gotta’s painting *La Gabbia Dorata*. Music will accompany the evening with piano compositions by the talented Anna Dari.
