If you’re planning a short autumn getaway, the Langhe offer an unmissable experience: the International Alba White Truffle Fair. This world-renowned event is the heart of an entire season dedicated to the king of local gastronomy — a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a land rich in history, exceptional wines, and breathtaking landscapes. Take note of the dates: this year, the Fair will begin on October 11 and end on December 8.
The fair is not just a market where you can buy truffles, but a true sensory journey that will lead you to discover an authentic Italian excellence. Let yourself be inspired by this one-of-a-kind experience, exploring one of the most legendary icons of gourmet cuisine — a path that combines local traditions, creative reinvention, and a deep respect for the nature of the Langhe.

Held every year in Alba from October to November, the Fair attracts visitors from all over the world eager to discover the Tuber Magnatum Pico.
The main event is the World Market of the Alba White Truffle, where local truffle hunters, known as trifulau, present the precious fruits of their adventures alongside their loyal truffle dogs.
Here, you can admire, touch, and—most importantly—breathe in the intense aroma of fresh truffle while attending cooking shows and guided tastings that celebrate the unbreakable bond between this hypogeal fungus and the local culture.

The Alba White Truffle is considered one of the jewels of world gastronomy. Its uniqueness lies in a combination of climatic, geological, and botanical factors typical of the Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato regions.
Its unmistakable aroma — evoking notes of earth, mushrooms, and honey — makes it a precious and sought-after ingredient, capable of turning even the simplest dish into a culinary masterpiece. Take, for instance, truffle eggs: one of the best recipes to appreciate the wide aromatic range of the Tuber Magnatum Pico. It may seem almost ordinary as a preparation, yet its apparent simplicity hides the real challenge. Only knowledge, skill, and respect can truly honor such a perfect pairing. Even with a slight twist on tradition — from tradition comes revolution!

A visit to the fair wouldn’t be complete without tasting the truffle menus offered by local restaurants. Here, the art of regional cuisine perfectly blends with the excellence of the truffle, traditionally paired with dishes such as tajarin pasta or fried eggs. At our restaurant, we invite you to fully experience this culinary journey, with dishes designed to enhance the flavor and aroma of the truffle at its best. From the classic egg cocotte to more elaborate creations, our goal is to offer you a moment of pure gastronomic pleasure.
Would you like to live an unforgettable experience? Stay tuned: soon, with the start of the truffle-harvesting season (from October 1 to January 31), we’ll publish our special Truffle Menu.
